Research and Design Thinking for Data Pipeline Team

Picture
Using the framework of story mapping, team members talk through how data would ideally process through the pipeline.
As a Human-Centered Design Lead for a large agricultural client, I was embedded on data engineering and software development team that delivered a data pipeline to move data from farming machinery to the cloud so that it could be leveraged for business insights.
HCD Deliverables:
* Personas
* Journey maps
* Story maps

* Increased stakeholder and employee engagement

Design thinking activities re-energized developers, scientists, managers, and technical leaders around a problem that had been frustrating them for years.

* Alignment around p
roduct vision
